Role Description This is a full time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Mumbai.

The Mechanical

Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and systems, with a focus on studs and stud welding equipment, using CAD tools and established engineering principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing calculations, preparing detailed drawings, collaborating with production and quality teams, and supporting testing, validation, and continuous improvement of equipment. The role involves contributing to research and development initiatives, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing designs for manufacturability and performance, and participating in project planning and documentation.

Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure that solutions meet safety, reliability, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and applied skills in mechanical systems and components.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and experience in designing mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for modeling, drafting, and detailing.
- Candidates should possess abilities in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and tracking deliverables.
- Candidates should possess experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D;), including testing, analysis, and innovation.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards in mechanical industries.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and adhere to safety and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in welding technologies or industrial equipment design is an advantage.
