Job Overview

- We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in 3D CAD modelling, SolidWorks, AutoCAD and mechanical product design.

- The ideal candidate should have experience in designing and developing heavy engineering equipment, high-pressure gas systems, subsea diving equipment, pressure regulators, manifolds and industrial valves.

- The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D models, preparing 2D manufacturing drawings, applying GD&T; standards, performing engineering calculations and coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure precision and quality in product development.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Mechanical

Design &

- CAD Modelling

- Develop 3D CAD models, component designs and assembly layouts using SolidWorks.

- Prepare detailed 2D production and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

- Design and develop subsea equipment, high-pressure gas regulators, manifold assemblies and high-pressure check valves.

- Modify and optimize existing mechanical designs based on project requirements.

2.

Engineering

Calculations

- Perform pressure vessel and pipe wall thickness calculations.

- Conduct flow rate calculations (LPM / Nm/hr.).

- Evaluate pressure drops and material stress requirements.





- Ensure mechanical designs meet specified operating pressure and safety requirements

3. GD&T; &

- Manufacturing Drawings

- Apply GD&T; principles in engineering and manufacturing drawings.

- Specify dimensional tolerances, machining fits and surface finish requirements.

4.

Material

Selection &

- Technical Knowledge

- Work with materials such as SS304, SS316L, Monel, Inconel, Brass and other specialty alloys.

- Select suitable materials based on pressure, operating conditions and application requirements.

5.

Technical

Documentation &

- Project Support

- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), raw material cost sheets and technical compliance documents.

- Support technical proposals and tender documentation for government and commercial projects.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Advanced hands-on experience in SolidWorks.

- Working proficiency in AutoCAD.

- Solid knowledge of 3D modelling and assembly design.

- Experience in 2D manufacturing and production drawings.

- Good understanding of GD&T;, dimensional tolerances and machining fits.

- Knowledge of engineering materials and mechanical components.

- Understanding of mechanical engineering calculations.
