Role & responsibilities

- Global supply chain management of India sourced parts

- Scheduling of export parts through SAP MRP, excel etc.

- Should be able to handle (Scheduling / Planning / Inventory management / Logistic cost optimization) 1200-1500 parts independently

- Day to Day management of suppliers to adhere schedule quantities.

- Experience in managing supplies from forging, Gears, machining, casting suppliers

- Conference call with Overseas Units to report actions on critical parts

- Reviewing schedule exceptions / urgencies, Supplier Capacity analysis

- Measure, Monitor & Improve delivery performance of suppliers

- Root cause analysis & take actions on supply discrepancies

- Identify process bottlenecks, assess mfg. capacity at supplier

- Should have a knowledge of Customs / Banks / Export Documentation

- Inventory Control Measure
- Knowledge of Export packaging, Container stuffing plan, Incoterms etc
