Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret shipbuilding drawings, structural drawings, and fabrication layouts.

- Mark steel plates, profiles, bulkheads, hull sections, and structural components according to approved drawings.

- Mark cutting lines, welding lines, reference lines, and fitting locations accurately.

- Measure and transfer dimensions using measuring tapes, steel rules, squares, scribers, chalk, and other marking tools.

- Verify dimensions and alignment before cutting, welding, and assembly.

- Coordinate with fabricators, welders, fitters, and supervisors to ensure accurate fabrication.

- Identify drawing discrepancies or measurement errors and report them to the supervisor.

- Follow shipyard quality standards, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.

- Maintain marking tools and ensure minimal material wastage and rework.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
