- Team player with experience in combustion development and powertrain systems
- Lead and drive combustion, performance, and emission optimization for diesel engines and powertrain systems.
- Oversee, validate, and execute diesel engine calibration programs, ensuring optimal synergy between base engine calibration, air system calibration, and tailpipe out calibration.
- Understanding of DOC, DPF, and SCR systems, taking responsibility for the complete exhaust aftertreatment system calibration.
- Working knowledge and experience in diesel engine combustion development and optimization, focusing on the trade-offs between performance, fuel economy, and emission levels.
- Conduct combustion hardware screening to identify and validate the combustion critical components for specific engine platforms.
- Experience in CRDI engine calibration and type approval




- Understanding and experience in DSM calibration, including PCD and NCD calibration.
- Knowledge of turbochargers, FIS system, aftertreatment system, injector thru-flow calculations, etc.
- Oversee the DVP&R; process for combustion components and ensure the release requirements for combustion proprietary parts.
- Understanding of the NPD process.
- Establish and follow best practices and SOPs for the use of calibration and data analysis tools
- Ability to interpret test data and translate them into actionable calibration maps.
- Present technical reviews, project statuses, and risk mitigation strategies to key stakeholders.
