Educational Requirements: Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.

Graduate of an IIT or equivalent institution.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Understand R&D; challenges through discussions with project stakeholders and research team members and identify opportunities where molecular simulation and digital technologies can accelerate materials development.
- Analyze simulation and computational results, derive technical insights, and provide recommendations to support decision-making and accelerate materials innovation.
- Evaluate emerging simulation methodologies, computational techniques, and advanced computing hardware (e.g., GPUs, HPC systems, and cloud computing platforms), and lead or support Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives to assess their potential value for R&D; applications.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
