JOB DESCRIPTION :

Purpose: To safeguard the companys reputation and commercial interests by shaping the policy landscape and identifying strategic growth opportunities through public-sector partnerships.

KRA 1 - Policy & Regulatory Advocacy

- Intelligence Gathering: Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments. Provide "so-what" briefings to leadership on the commercial implications of recent policies.
- Strategic Influence: Develop and execute engagement plans targeting parliamentarians, government officials, and regulatory bodies to move the needle on key issues.
- Representation: Serve as the official company representative within industry associations (e.g., AmCham, Chambers of Commerce) and policy-shaping forums.

KRA 2 - Strategic Growth & Partnerships

- Public-Sector Opportunities: Identify and lead the pursuit of government-led commercial opportunities, including grants, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and national tenders.




- Commercial Integration: Partner with internal Sales and Product teams to align business offerings with government priorities (e.g., sustainability mandates or digital infrastructure goals).
- Network Management: Build and maintain a high-value "stakeholder map" of decision-makers to facilitate market entry and expansion.

KRA 3 - Reputation & Risk Management

- Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify political or social risks to the business and develop mitigation strategies before they impact operations.
- Content Creation: Draft authoritative position papers, consultation responses, and speeches for senior executives.
