Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Trainee – Technology Projects to support the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, from initial client discussions through development, deployment, and handover.

The candidate will work closely with leadership, engineering teams, technology partners, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed requirements.

This role is suited to candidates who combine analytical thinking, business understanding, communication skills, and an interest in emerging technologies. The selected candidate will gain hands-on exposure to AI project management, software development coordination, client management, and technology deployment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Project Management

- Assist in planning and executing AI, Computer Vision, and enterprise AI projects.
- Prepare project plans, timelines, milestones, task trackers, and status reports.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to track development, testing, integration, and deployment activities.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays and dependencies, and escalate risks proactively.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and delivery checklists.

1. Technical Coordination and Solution Understanding

- Develop a working understanding of Skynetic's technology solutions, including AI applications, computer vision models, software platforms, APIs, and cloud-based systems.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into structured project requirements and actionable tasks.
- Coordinate with developers, AI engineers, and technology partners.
- Track integration between software applications, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Assist with software testing, validation, issue tracking, and deployment readiness.

1. Client and Stakeholder Management

- Participate in client meetings, requirement-gathering sessions, project reviews, and product demonstrations.




- Prepare presentations, project proposals, technical documentation, and progress updates.
- Follow up with clients and internal teams to ensure timely closure of action items.
- Track scope changes, client feedback, acceptance criteria, and project deliverables.
- Support client onboarding, user training, and project handover.

1. Budgeting and Commercial Coordination

- Assist in preparing project estimates, resource plans, and cost sheets.
- Track project budgets, actual expenditure, resource utilisation, and cost variances.
- Support preparation of technical-commercial proposals and statements of work.
- Maintain records of project costs and support invoicing and milestone-based payment follow-ups.
- Help monitor project scope to prevent unplanned work and cost overruns.

1. Product Development and Process Improvement

- Work with the team to convert recurring project requirements into standardised product features and deployment processes.
- Maintain product requirement documents, issue logs, test cases, and release checklists.
- Research relevant AI technologies, software platforms, tools, and potential integration partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve project execution, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Help establish repeatable project management processes as Skynetic scales its technology business.

Required Skills and Competencies

Preferred Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics,



or another engineering discipline; or an MBA in Operations, Technology Management, Project Management, or Business Administration.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, Notion, or equivalent project management platforms.
- Basic understanding of software development, APIs, databases, cloud computing, or AI/ML concepts.
- Exposure to software implementation, business analysis, technology consulting, or product development projects.
- Internship experience in project management, consulting, operations, business analysis, or technology startups is an advantage.

Candidates are not expected to be AI developers or expert programmers. However, they must be comfortable learning technical concepts, asking the right questions, understanding project dependencies, and coordinating effectively with technical teams.
