Maintenance Supervisor (Agri/Food Industry)

Location: Shivare, Near Khed Shivapur Toll Plaza, Pune-Satara Road, Pune

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor with experience in agricultural or food processing / manufacturing industry who can manage production operations, manpower, and machine maintenance during shifts while ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance calendar for grinders, mixers, sorters, and packaging machines.
- Breakdown Repair: Act as the first responder for any mechanical or electrical failures on the production line to minimize "downtime."
- Utility Management: Oversee the smooth functioning of plant utilities including air compressors, water systems, and electrical panels.
- Calibration: Ensure all sensors and weighing scales are calibrated to meet organic certification standards.
- Equipment Handling: Safely drive and operate lift vehicles (Forklifts, Reach Trucks, or Stackers) to move machinery parts, pallets, or heavy equipment across the floor.
- Loading/Unloading: Assist in the secure positioning of heavy equipment during installation or floor reorganization.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the lift vehicle is maintained and operated according to shop-floor safety protocols.
- Manpower Management:



Supervise a small team of technicians and helpers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently during your shift.
- 4M Coordination: Work closely with the Production Supervisor to coordinate machine "stoppage time" for maintenance without affecting delivery schedules.
- Inventory Control: Maintain a stock of critical spare parts and lubricants (food-grade).

Ideal Candidate Profile

- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or related field
- 1-2 years experience in Agri/ Food Processing industry
- Experience in handling production lines, machinery maintenance and manpower.
- Strong people management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in rotational shifts

Work Environment

- Factory-floor based.
- Shift-based working hours; may require overtime during peak production or breakdowns.
