Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Magento & Shopify Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites. The candidate should have practical knowledge of Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce and Shopify, including theme customization, custom module or app development, third-party integrations, and website performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain e-commerce websites using Magento 2 and Shopify.
- Customize Magento themes, modules, extensions, and storefront functionalities.
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON templates.
- Work with Shopify apps, custom app integrations, and third-party APIs.
- Configure Shopify products, collections, variants, discounts, shipping, and payment settings.
- Develop and maintain Magento 2 modules, plugins, observers, layouts, and API integrations.
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM, ERP, and other third-party services.
- Customize storefront layouts and improve user experience across desktop and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot bugs, resolve technical issues, and optimize website speed and performance.
- Work with Magento REST/SOAP APIs and Shopify APIs, including REST and GraphQL where applicable.
- Manage website migrations, data imports, and e-commerce platform integrations.
- Use Git for version control and follow coding standards and development best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver quality solutions.

Required Skills




- 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce website development.
- Hands-on experience with Magento 2 and Shopify.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Shopify Liquid, theme customization, sections, snippets, and templates.
- Understanding of Shopify Admin, products, collections, metafields, and app integrations.
- Knowledge of Magento 2 architecture, custom module development, plugins, observers, and dependency injection.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git, Composer, and command-line tools.
- Knowledge of responsive design, SEO fundamentals, and website performance optimization.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Shopify Plus and Shopify checkout customization.
- Knowledge of Shopify CLI and custom/private app development.
- Familiarity with Shopify webhooks and Storefront API.
- Experience with Magento hosting, caching, indexing, and cron jobs.
- Knowledge of page builders and third-party e-commerce extensions.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong portfolio of Magento and Shopify e-commerce projects.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple development tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
