Role Description The Machine Operator role at SHAFELTECH is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Machine

Operator will set up, operate, and monitor coating and related machinery, ensuring components are processed according to technical specifications and safety standards. Daily tasks include loading and unloading parts, performing basic maintenance checks, using appropriate hand tools, and documenting production activities.



The role involves working closely with quality control personnel to inspect finished components, identify defects, and support continuous improvement of processes.

The Machine

Operator will collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills and experience working with industrial Machinery.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including the ability to inspect components and follow technical standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using Hand Tools and basic mechanical tools safely and accurately.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, technicians, and quality teams.
- Prior experience in thermal spray coating, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, basic drawings, and safety guidelines.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to work in rotating shifts as required.
- High school diploma, technical school certificate, or equivalent industrial training is preferred.
