Location: Remote, India | Working Hours: U.S. business hours
We are seeking a skilled with hands-on experience preparing and managing placed-in-service (PIS) packages for U.S. affordable housing projects under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and coordinate PIS/IRS Form 8609 submission packages.
- Collect and verify certificates of occupancy, cost certifications, financing documents and owner certifications.
- Coordinate with developers, owners, CPAs and state housing agencies to resolve outstanding requirements.
- Track deadlines and ensure accurate, complete and timely submissions.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience handling LIHTC PIS packages and the Form 8609 issuance process.
- Strong attention to detail, communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and work remotely from India during U.S. business hours.
