Role & responsibilities

- Review, draft, and vet legal agreements, transaction documents, investment-related contracts, and regulatory filings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable SEBI, AMFIand other financial sector regulations.
- Monitor regulatory circulars, notifications, and amendments issued by SEBI, AMFI, and other regulators, and assess their impact on business operations.
- Provide legal support for investment products, debt market transactions and other capital market activities.
- Assist in reviewing offering documents, information memorandums, term sheets, trust deeds, and related legal documentation.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, trustees, custodians, regulators, and internal stakeholders on legal matters.
- Support regulatory inspections, compliance audits, due diligence exercises, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
