Responsible for Accounts & Finance at the plant level and support in the statutory compliances.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Accounting & Cost:

· Accounts payable

· Maintenance of books of account and reconciliation of cost incurred.

· Monitoring and control of overheads cost.

· Fixed assets register maintenance

· Vetting of capex proposal/Cost saving initiatives.

· Adhere to the commercial compliances applicable to the unit & adhere to them to avoid financial implications.

2) Statutory Compliance:

· Indirect tax - Sales Tax, Excise - Assessment, Reco, Return filing.

3) Statutory Audit:

· Co-ordinating with internal and external Auditors.

· Reviewing books of accounts and reports to Head Office as per schedule.

· Monthly financial book closing and expenses analysis.

· Coordinate the annual independent audit including preparing financial statements which are audited.

4) MIS (Management Information System):

· To generate MIS reports as and when required.

· Need based support for functions like MHD, Commercial etc.

· MIS reports of Freight/Employee vendor/Vendor Records.

MEASURES

· Cost of noncompliance.





· Percentage of accounts receivables overdue to total accounts receivables

· Budget Vs Actual cost for the plant

· Average time to update MIS.

- Knowledge of present Accounting Standards and terminologies
