· Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, building structures and various equipments

· Supervise the Maintenance Department personnel and is responsible for their training, proficiency, work assignments

· Make routine inspections of the complex work insuring the work is being accomplished in a skilled manner and the cleanliness of all equipment spaces is being maintained

· Develop and coordinate an effective preventative maintenance program

· Prepares and monitors the approved department budget

· Inspects work for completeness

· Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used.

- Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs and maintain the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in all departments
- Coordinates and inspects major contract works on the electrical, plumbing,



mechanical and other related systems.
- Assign and inspect the work of other maintenance employees

· Building and equipment maintenance

· Engineering and design, and construction activities, equipment operations and grounds maintenance.

· Leads, directs and manages all maintenance activities to include staffing, equipment, processes, and operating procedures in a reliable manner to minimize system failures and provide a safe, effective environment of care.

· Thorough understanding of NABH, Joint Commission, Hazmat, OSHA, and linen standards.

· Make critical decisions in emergency situations related to severe weather and utility issues that affect the facility.
