Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, advanced Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure DevOps, GitHub CI/CD and cloud security.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building and managing scalable, secure and production-grade cloud infrastructure, developing reusable Terraform modules, implementing automated deployment pipelines and enabling engineering teams through platform automation and self-service capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain production-grade Terraform infrastructure, including reusable modules, versioning, automated testing and policy-as-code.
- Architect, deploy and manage Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Databricks, Application Gateway, API Management, Storage Accounts and Service Bus.
- Develop and optimize advanced CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Implement Azure security and identity management using RBAC, Entra ID, Managed Identities and Zero Trust principles.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, validation and testing using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code best practices, security compliance and automated governance controls.
- Build reusable platform components and self-service infrastructure solutions for development teams.




- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve cloud infrastructure reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.
- Maintain technical documentation and drive DevOps engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills
1. Advanced Terraform: Hands-on experience developing production-grade reusable Terraform modules, IaC automation, versioning, testing and policy-as-code.
2. Microsoft Azure: Strong practical experience across Azure cloud infrastructure and application services.
3. Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions: Advanced CI/CD pipeline development, reusable templates and automated deployments.
4. Azure Security: Experience with RBAC, Entra ID, Managed Identities and security best practices.
5. Scripting: Strong knowledge of PowerShell, Bash or Python.
6. Platform Engineering: Experience in infrastructure automation, reusable components and scalable cloud platforms.

Good to Have
- Azure networking, VNets, Private Endpoints, DNS, NSGs and Application Gateway.
- Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog.
- Infrastructure testing, drift detection and compliance automation.
- Backstage, internal developer platforms and self-service provisioning.
- Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience designing reusable infrastructure modules rather than only executing Terraform scripts.
- Experience developing enterprise-scale CI/CD automation.
- Good understanding of cloud security, governance and identity management.
- Robust troubleshooting, communication and technical leadership skills.
