Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Design Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and validation of hydraulic bolt tensioners, hydraulic cylinders, and high-pressure hydraulic equipment operating at 700–2,500 bar. The candidate should have strong expertise in mechanical design, hydraulic systems, engineering calculations, CAD modelling on Soildworks , and prototype development.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of hydraulic bolt tensioners, hydraulic cylinders, and high-pressure equipment.
- Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, GD&T;, and BOMs using SolidWorks CAD software.
- Perform engineering calculations related to pressure, force, stress, fatigue, and structural strength.
- Select suitable materials, seals, fittings, and manufacturing processes for high-pressure applications.
- Develop prototypes, test rigs, and testing procedures for pressure, load, leakage, and performance validation.
- Conduct design reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement design improvements.
- Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and suppliers to ensure smooth product development and manufacturing.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and cost-optimization techniques.
- Maintain accurate engineering drawings, technical documentation, and product development records.
- Ensure product safety, reliability, quality,



and compliance with approved design specifications.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design and hydraulic systems.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks , Ansys workbench 3D CAD software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing drawings, GD&T;, machining, and material selection.
- Understanding of high-pressure hydraulic equipment, cylinders, and bolt tensioning systems.
- Experience in engineering calculations, prototype development, and product testing.
- Knowledge of FEA, DFMEA, and design validation will be an advantage.
- Solid problem-solving, team coordination, and project management skills.

Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory; M.Tech/M.E. in Design or Machine Design is preferred.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in hydraulic equipment, hydraulic cylinders, bolt tensioners, or similar high-pressure systems.
- Practical experience in product design, manufacturing drawings, machining, and testing is required.
- Candidates with relevant industrial hydraulic tools and high-pressure equipment design experience will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile: Candidates with hands-on experience in the design and development of hydraulic tools, bolt tensioners, high-pressure cylinders, and industrial hydraulic equipment. Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
