Role Overview The SAP SD Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), with a strong focus on the Order-to-Cash (O2C/OTC) process. The role requires hands-on experience in S/4HANA, India Localization, GST, and e-Invoicing, along with experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

- Configure SAP SD functionalities, including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, and Credit Management.
- Implement GST, e-Invoicing, and India-specific statutory requirements.
- Configure pricing procedures, condition types, rebates, and tax configurations.
- Manage copy controls, partner functions, and output determination.

Integration
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP SD with FI, MM, PP, and other SAP modules.
- Collaborate with technical teams on RICEF developments and interfaces such as IDoc and EDI.

Project Implementation
- Lead requirement gathering, blueprinting, and preparation of functional specifications.
- Execute full lifecycle projects, including greenfield implementations, rollouts,



and migrations.
- Conduct SIT/UAT testing and support defect resolution.

Support & Optimization

- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot SAP SD-related issues.
- Optimize Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes and enhance system workflows.

Documentation & Training
- Prepare functional specifications and configuration documents.
- Conduct end-user training and develop user manuals.

Required Skills & Competencies

SAP Expertise

- 7 to 9 years of SAP SD experience, with at least 2+ end-to-end implementations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA SD.
- Strong experience in India Localization, GST, and e-Invoicing.
- Strong understanding of the OTC cycle, Pricing, Billing, and Credit Management.

Technical & Functional Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and customization.
- Knowledge of IDoc processing and cross-module integration.
- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications.
- Understanding of integrations with FI, MM, PP, EDI, and other SAP modules.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- SAP SD certification is preferred.
- Proven experience working on India implementation projects.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Exposure to SAP GTS and Advanced Returns Management.
- Experience with SAP Public Cloud or Private Cloud implementations.
- Knowledge of Transportation Management (TM) and Third-Party Sales processes.
