- Operate CNC laser cutting machines as per production requirements and work instructions.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, cutting layouts, and dimensions.

- Verify material grade, sheet thickness, and job details before starting production.

- Load and unload sheet metal safely and ensure proper material positioning.

- Select and verify CNC programs and nesting layouts before cutting.

- Set appropriate cutting parameters, including speed, laser power, and assist-gas pressure.

- Ensure cut components meet dimensional accuracy and quality standards.

- Inspect components for burrs, dross, burn marks, and incomplete cuts.

- Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, measuring tapes, and gauges.

- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.

- Minimize material wastage, rejection, rework, and machine idle time.





- Perform routine machine cleaning and operator-level preventive maintenance.

- Check nozzles, cutting heads, lenses, and other components as applicable.

- Report machine breakdowns, alarms, and abnormalities to the supervisor.

- Follow machine safety procedures and use the required PPE.

- Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and secure material handling practices.

- Maintain production, rejection, material consumption, and machine downtime records.

- Ensure proper identification and transfer of cut components to the next process.

- Coordinate with supervisors, quality, programming, and fabrication teams.

- Follow company SOPs, quality standards, and production schedules.
