We are looking for a skilled Laser Cutting Machine Operator with 1–2 years of experience in operating laser cutting machines for sheet metal fabrication. The candidate should be capable of machine setup, program execution, quality inspection, and routine machine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC laser cutting machines for sheet metal components as per drawings and production requirements.

- Load cutting programs, select appropriate parameters, and set up jobs for production.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.

- Handle sheet metal loading, unloading, nesting files, and material identification.

- Monitor cutting quality, dimensional accuracy, burrs, and edge finish.

- Perform first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments.

- Identify cutting defects and troubleshoot basic machine and process issues.

- Perform routine cleaning, nozzle checks, lens inspection, and preventive maintenance as per SOP.

- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain 5S standards.

- Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams to meet delivery schedules.





Required Skills and Qualifications

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

- 1–2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.

- Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and CNC machine operation.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances.

- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and measuring tapes.

- Knowledge of cutting parameters, material thickness, and basic troubleshooting.

- Understanding of machine safety, material handling, and shop-floor practices.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with fibre laser cutting machines.

- Familiarity with machine control systems and cutting software.

- Experience cutting mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium sheets.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
