Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and well-connected Labour Recruitment & Mobilisation Coordinator based in Kolkata, West Bengal, to help mobilise and coordinate a large workforce for a Smart Meter Installation Project across Maharashtra.

The ideal candidate should have strong local connections with electricians, technicians, labour groups, contractors, and manpower suppliers and be capable of arranging and verifying workers in large numbers.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and mobilise electricians, technicians, helpers, and eligible workers from Kolkata and nearby areas for deployment across Maharashtra.
- Build a network of labour contractors, team leaders, and manpower suppliers who can provide workers in bulk.
- Coordinate with workers and contractors through WhatsApp, phone calls, and other communication channels.
- Collect and verify worker details, including names, contact numbers, identity documents, qualifications, and relevant experience.
- Ensure that worker information and documents are complete, accurate, and submitted in the required format.
- Maintain a worker database with verification status, availability, skills, and expected joining dates.
- Confirm the actual availability and willingness of each worker before submitting their details.
- Coordinate with shortlisted workers regarding project requirements, training, joining procedures, and deployment schedules.
- Identify and resolve documentation gaps and discrepancies before forwarding worker profiles for approval.
- Provide regular updates on the number of verified and available workers.




- Build and manage a network capable of supplying hundreds of workers, with an overall mobilisation target of approximately 800–900 workers.
- Coordinate with the management team in Mumbai to ensure smooth mobilisation and deployment.

Candidate Requirements
- Must be based in Kolkata or have a robust network in Kolkata and surrounding areas.
- Experience in labour recruitment, manpower supply, contractor coordination, field recruitment, or workforce mobilisation is preferred.
- Must have access to a network of electricians, technicians, labour contractors, or manpower suppliers.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Sheets, Excel, and online document-sharing tools.
- Ability to manage large volumes of worker information and follow up consistently.
- Must be capable of verifying worker availability rather than merely collecting phone numbers.
- Experience mobilising 50–100 or more workers for industrial, electrical, construction, infrastructure, or utility projects will be an advantage.

Compensation
- Performance-based commission for successfully verified and approved workers who actually join the project.
- Commission structure will be discussed and agreed upon with the selected candidate.

Pay: ₹8,400.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
