: Laboratory Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician to support daily laboratory activities at our hospital. The candidate should have practical knowledge of laboratory testing , sample handling, equipment operation, and maintaining accurate test records .

Roles & Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, label, and process blood and other clinical samples .
- Perform routine laboratory tests accurately and on time.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment .
- Prepare samples and reagents required for testing.
- Maintain accurate test reports and laboratory records .
- Check the quality of test results and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures .




- Dispose of laboratory waste according to hospital guidelines.
- Maintain the availability of laboratory materials and supplies .
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff .
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies .

Required Skills

- Knowledge of routine laboratory tests and procedures .
- Experience in handling laboratory samples and equipment.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Positive communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and manage daily laboratory tasks .

Eligibility Criteria

- 2–3 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory .
- Relevant qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Willingness to work in shifts , if required.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
