We are looking for a Kiln Fireman to operate and monitor kiln operations, maintain proper temperature, and ensure smooth and safe production. The candidate should have experience in kiln firing, temperature control, and maintaining process parameters in a manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor kiln firing operations as per production requirements.

Maintain the required kiln temperature and firing conditions.

Monitor fuel supply, combustion, and flame conditions during operation.

Check kiln temperature, pressure, and other process parameters regularly.

Identify abnormal conditions and report any operational issues to the Shift In-charge.

Ensure proper fuel consumption and efficient kiln operation.

Follow safety procedures while handling fuel, burners, and hot materials.

Coordinate with the operations and maintenance teams for smooth production.

Maintain shift records and report production-related issues.

Keep the work area clean and follow plant safety standards.

Qualification





ITI / Diploma in a relevant technical trade preferred.

Candidates with relevant kiln operation experience may also be considered.

Experience

1–5 years of experience in kiln firing or kiln operations in a manufacturing plant.

Experience in the iron and steel industry, particularly DRI kiln operations, will be preferred.

Required Skills

Knowledge of kiln temperature control and firing operations.

Understanding of fuel handling and combustion.

Ability to identify operational abnormalities.

Basic knowledge of industrial safety procedures.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Steel manufacturing plant.

Shift-based operations.

Must follow all plant safety rules and operational procedures.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
