Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

- Monitor and operate oleo plant equipment such as hydrolysis, distillation, fractionation, hydrogenation, and associated utility systems.
- Ensure smooth plant operation as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor process parameters including temperature, pressure, flow rate, and product quality.
- Record production data and maintain shift logs accurately.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams during breakdowns and planned shutdowns.

Quality Control

- Ensure products meet specified quality standards.
- Collect process samples and coordinate with the Quality Control laboratory.
- Take corrective actions for process deviations affecting product quality.
- Adhere to GMP, ISO, and customer quality requirements.

Safety & Compliance

- Follow all safety procedures, permit systems, and operational guidelines.
- Participate in safety inspections, audits, and emergency drills.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses immediately.

Maintenance Coordination

- Conduct routine equipment inspections.
- Identify abnormal operating conditions and report to supervisors.
- Assist maintenance teams during preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.




- Support plant reliability and improvement initiatives.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain shift reports, production records, and equipment logs.
- Update process checklists and documentation.
- Assist in preparing daily and monthly production reports.

Qualifications

- Diploma/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in Oleo Chemical, Edible Oil, Refinery, Chemical, or Process Industry.
- Freshers with relevant industrial training may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Understanding of process plant operations.
- Knowledge of safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
- Ability to interpret process parameters and trends.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and tanks.
- Positive communication and reporting skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
