Wood&Metal; Luxury Interiors creates bespoke interiors for homes, hospitality spaces and high-end commercial projects. We design and craft handcrafted, personalised furniture, decorative wall panels, partitions, sculptures and fixed elements, all made to order in our own workshop. Every project reflects our commitment to fine craftsmanship, quality materials and exceptional service.

THE ROLE: JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

This is a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru for a designer with 1–2 years of experience. You will work alongside our senior designers on residential, hospitality and commercial projects. Day to day, you will:

Understand client requirements and help turn them into design concepts

Prepare detailed construction drawings and 3D views

Assist with selecting furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E;)

Visit sites and coordinate with architects and contractors so work matches the design

We are looking for someone who takes initiative. When given a brief, you explore options and bring forward multiple ideas, not just one version. You work to timelines and deadlines, flag problems early and help solve them.

WHAT YOU NEED

1–2 years of experience in interior design





Experience working in a design studio or company office environment, delivering to timelines and deadlines

Proficiency in space planning and interior design

Knowledge of architecture principles and the ability to collaborate with architects

Experience creating detailed construction drawings

Understanding of FF&E; selection and sourcing

Robust communication and client engagement skills

Attention to detail from concept to completion

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion and Enscape

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field

Motivation to learn joinery, and not just to make good renders A willingness to learn the know-how of materials such as wood, the different types of metal, and machining,

so you can take a piece from concept to finished product

Experience with bespoke or high-end interiors is an advantage A design and manufacturing studio
