Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Interior Designer to support our design team in furniture design, space planning, and customized interior solutions. The candidate will assist senior designers in preparing drawings, 3D visuals, and production documentation, while learning the complete process from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing customized furniture and interior design concepts.
- Understand design briefs and support senior designers in converting client requirements into practical layouts.
- Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings under guidance.
- Create 3D models and basic visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software.
- Assist in preparing production drawings and make revisions as directed by senior designers.
- Coordinate with production, carpentry, and installation teams for drawing clarifications.
- Accompany senior designers on site visits and assist in taking accurate measurements.
- Help in selecting materials, finishes, laminates, veneers, fabrics, and hardware.
- Support preparation of material specifications and BOQ documents.
- Incorporate design changes based on feedback from seniors and clients.




- Follow up on design execution and report any issues to the senior designer.
- Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
- Meet deadlines for assigned design tasks while handling multiple small assignments.

Required Skills

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp (3D Max, V-Ray, or Lumion is an added advantage).
- Basic understanding of furniture materials such as plywood, MDF, veneer, laminates, and hardware.
- Basic knowledge of furniture dimensions, ergonomics, and space planning.
- Good drafting and detailing skills.
- Ability to create clear design presentations and visualizations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work in office when required.
- Time management and attention to detail.

Qualification Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Freshers with strong portfolios or candidates with internship/work experience in furniture, modular interiors, or residential/commercial design projects will be preferred.
