Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimation Engineer to assist in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and quotation preparation for commercial and residential interior projects. The candidate should have a basic understanding of civil engineering and interior fit-out works, along with positive numerical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for interior and civil projects.
- Study architectural drawings, civil drawings, and interior layouts to calculate quantities.
- Prepare material quantity calculations and cost breakdowns.
- Assist in preparing project estimates, quotations, and budget sheets.
- Calculate quantities for flooring, ceiling, painting, carpentry, partitions, electrical works, and other interior-related activities.
- Collect and compare material and vendor prices to support accurate estimation.
- Coordinate with senior estimation engineers, designers, procurement staff, and project teams.
- Update estimation sheets based on revised drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of BOQs, quotations, costing sheets, and estimation records.




- Support senior team members in tender preparation and cost-control activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and cost estimation.
- Understanding of civil construction and commercial interior works.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- AutoCAD knowledge and familiarity with estimation software are preferred.
- Solid numerical, analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior team member.

Candidates with previous experience in civil estimation, quantity surveying, or commercial and residential interior estimation will be preferred. Freshers with robust technical fundamentals may also be considered based on their skills and suitability. Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
