We are looking for junior data engineers and data science enthusiasts who are strong in Python and eager to grow. You will join our data team in Mohali and work alongside senior engineers on real data projects for international client organisations, learning how production data pipelines are built, tested and run.

Responsibilities:

- Write clean, well-structured Python code to build and maintain data pipelines that collect data from APIs, files (CSV, JSON, XML) and databases.
- Clean, transform and validate raw data so that it is accurate, consistent and ready for analysis.
- Write SQL queries to explore, aggregate and load data in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and BigQuery.
- Help automate data collection and processing tasks, including incremental (watermark-based) data loads.
- Investigate data issues, debug failing jobs and propose practical fixes.
- Document your work clearly and communicate progress to senior team members.
- Learn and work with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services used in our projects.

Requirements:





- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or a related field.
- Good knowledge of Python: data types, functions, OOP basics, error handling, and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Basic SQL skills: joins, aggregations and filtering.
- Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to break a problem into steps and work through it.
- Valuable verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A strong learning attitude: curious, open to feedback and willing to pick up new tools quickly.

Nice to Have:

- Academic, personal or internship projects in data engineering, data analysis or machine learning (please share GitHub links).
- Exposure to any cloud platform, preferably GCP.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Git or web scraping.
- Interest in ML/AI, or completed courses on Coursera / Udemy / edX in data, programming or cloud.
