Salary: ₹8,000 per monthAbout the RoleWe are looking for a sincere and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our accounts team. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, billing, GST and record-keeping so our finances stay accurate and up to date.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord daily accounting entries such as sales, purchases, receipts and payments in Tally. Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, quotations and delivery challans.
Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and follow up on payments and outstanding balances. Assist with GST data preparation, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing support and invoice reconciliation. Handle bank reconciliation and cash book entries.
Track stock and inventory records together with the store or sales team. Maintain petty cash and expense records. Organise bills,
vouchers and accounting documents in proper files, both digital and physical.
Support the senior accountant or manager with monthly reports, TDS and audit-related work. Coordinate with the sales and purchase teams on billing and payment matters. Required Skills and QualificationsB.Com, M.Com, BBA or a diploma in accounting (a computerised accounting course such as Tally with GST is preferred). Fresher or 1 year of experience in accounting, billing or bookkeeping.
Working knowledge of Tally ERP or Tally Prime and MS Excel. Basic understanding of GST, invoicing and accounting principles. Good accuracy, honesty and attention to detail. Basic communication skills in Malayalam and English.
Ability to meet deadlines and work with a team.
Experience in an electrical, hardware or trading business is an added advantage.
