Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Jr. Production Planning & Control Executive to support production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and monitoring of manufacturing activities to ensure timely production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Monitor production progress against planned schedules and report deviations.
- Track material availability and coordinate with the Stores and Purchase teams to avoid production delays.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, work orders, planning sheets, and daily output records.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), machine utilization, and production efficiency.
- Follow up on pending production orders and ensure timely completion.




- Identify production bottlenecks and support corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Maintain records of production targets, actual output, rejection, and downtime.
- Support inventory control and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and machines.
- Assist in implementing 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and update production-related data using MS Excel and ERP systems.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC) and manufacturing processes.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is an added advantage.
- Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet production deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering industries will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and relevant internship experience may also be considered.
- Candidates should be willing to work closely with shop-floor and cross-functional teams.
