1. Heat and mass balance for chemical processes

2. Pilot plant operations
3. Knowledge of pilot plant level valves, temperature sensors, pressure sensors
4. Understanding of processes like reaction, extraction, heat exchanger, separation, distillation, fermentation.
5. Experience in small scale chemical synthesis plants
6. Handling of processes through SCADA, PLC
7. Data monitor and report making

Skills required: Heat and mass balance, pilot plant operation, High temperature and high pressure system
