Reports to the AVP - Enterprise Architecture
Education / Qualifications
- Basic Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field) from a recognized university.
- Preferred Education: A Master’s Degree in Engineering (M.E. / M.Tech / MS) or equivalent post-graduation is highly preferred.
- Total Experience: 13–16 years of overall IT experience.
- Target Industries: Strong preference for candidates from a Technology, ITES, Shared Services, or Banking organization.
- Role Experience: Minimum of 5 years working as a Technical Architect or Technology Specialist, explicitly leading the architectural design and roadmap for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Domain Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and building enterprise-grade HRMS solutions (e.g., payroll, talent acquisition, performance evaluation, or workforce management modules).
Core Technical Skills (Mandatory)
- Backend Architecture: Deep, hands-on expertise in building cloud-native Java and Spring Boot-based Microservices. Strong command over microservice design patterns (API Gateway, Service Discovery, Circuit Breaker, CQRS).
- Event-Driven Architecture: Robust experience in Event-Driven Design (EDD), asynchronous communication patterns, and event streaming utilizing Apache Kafka (topics, partitions, consumer groups, schema registry).
- Frontend Development: Solid experience architecting and steering the development of modern web applications using Angular (including state management, lazy loading, component lifecycle, and secure routing).
- API & Integration: Extensive experience designing secure,
high-performance RESTful APIs and integrating Web Services (OAuth2, JWT, OIDC, and API Security standards).
- Database Management: Solid knowledge of both relational and NoSQL/Offline databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, IndexedDB, or Oracle DB).
- Containers & Cloud: Practical experience deploying, scaling, and managing workloads on containerized platforms, specifically RedHat OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Process Automation: Hands-on or architectural familiarity with Process Orchestration engines (e.g., IBM BAMOE, Camunda, jBPM, or similar workflow platforms).
Added Advantages / Preferred Skills:
- Certifications: Enterprise-level Java certifications—such as Oracle Certified Master, Java EE Enterprise Architect (OCMJEA) or equivalent cloud-native architecture credentials—are a distinct plus.
- Business Intelligence: Experience working with data delivery or analytics layers like IBM COGNOS.
- Legacy Modernization: Background in migrating traditional J2EE streams (EJB, Servlets, JSP, WebLogic, JBoss) into lightweight, distributed microservice architectures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture, Design & End-to-End Delivery
- Conceptualize, design, and deliver enterprise-grade HRMS products and features through the engineering team, ensuring compliance with predefined scope, performance metrics, and global standards.
- Leverage advanced Software Architecture and Design Principles,
design patterns, methodologies, and strict domain concepts to build resilient, distributed systems.
- Ensure continuous knowledge upgradation and evaluate emerging tech stacks to keep our application infrastructure cutting-edge, secure, and compliant with modern client expectations.
- Gather business specifications and translate complex domain/business problems into concrete, high-quality technical solutions within the client organization.
2.
System
Integration & Re-engineering
- Deconstruct complex integration requirements across global HR modules and recommend optimal enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
- Define, govern, and document comprehensive design specifications for integrations connecting legacy networks with new microservice layers.
- Identify performance bottlenecks in the existing integration layers and proactively redesign/re-engineer integration solutions to meet evolving business velocity and data scales.
3. Leadership, Consultation & Mentorship
- Provide strategic technical support and consultation across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), guiding developers through deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and complex environment integration issues.
- Train, mentor, and cultivate technical talent within the engineering team to build an agile pool of highly skilled developers, systematically mitigating application delivery risks.
Employment Type
- Contract Framework: All positions are on a fixed-term contract on a full-time basis exclusively for ReBIT.
- Tenure: Initially for a period of five (5) years, which is extendable by mutual consent based on performance and organizational requirements.
