Role - Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Java 21, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and database development. The candidate will be responsible for developing secure and scalable backend applications, implementing business workflows, integrating systems, optimizing application performance, and providing production support.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Java Development: Develop secure and scalable backend applications using Java 21, Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Collections, and Exception Handling.
2. Spring Boot & Microservices: Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Spring Boot.
3. REST API Development: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using JSON, Swagger, and OpenAPI specifications.
4. Database Development: Design database schemas, write SQL queries, and optimize database performance using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
5. JPA/Hibernate & Liquibase: Implement database operations using JPA/Hibernate and manage database schema changes and migrations using Liquibase.
6. Application Security: Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth2.
7. Workflow & Business Rules: Develop business workflows, business rule engines, validation logic, and approval processes based on business requirements.
8. Logging & Exception Handling: Implement audit logging, transaction tracking, and centralized exception-handling mechanisms.
9. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in backend applications, REST APIs, and database queries.
10. Unit Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito, debug application issues, and maintain code quality.
11. DevOps Tools:



Use Git for version control and work with Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and deployment.
12. System Integration: Integrate internal and external systems through APIs and backend services.
13. Production Support: Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve software defects.
14. Team Collaboration: Understand technical and business requirements and coordinate with development, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
15. Code Quality: Follow coding standards, maintain technical documentation, and ensure application reliability, security, and maintainability.
