WELFIN is now recruiting Intern Software Engineer & QA for its Kolkata location at Salt Lake, Sector -V.

About the Role DURATION 3–6 months LOCATION Welfin Office, Kolkata Welfin is looking for tech-savvy graduates and trainees to join our engineering pod and support the development and operation of an enterprise-grade AI WealthTech platform. You will work directly under our Lead Engineer, Arnab, gaining hands-on experience in software testing, backend support, infrastructure monitoring, and database operations. What You’ll Work On Backend testing and QA: Assist with functional testing, API checks, bug reproduction, test documentation, and verification of fixes. Server monitoring: Help monitor server health, application availability, logs, and basic infrastructure alerts. Backup management: Assist with routine backup checks, backup records, and restore-verification procedures under supervision. Python and database support: Support basic Python scripts, SQL queries, data checks, and troubleshooting tasks.



Engineering documentation: Maintain clear notes on test results, incidents, procedures, and issues for the engineering team.

What We’re Looking For Basic programming knowledge in Python and/or JavaScript. Familiarity with Linux commands and SQL/database fundamentals. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. A responsible, methodical approach to testing, documentation, and handling technical tasks. Readiness to work on-site from Welfin’s Kolkata office. Internship & Growth This is a full time, on-site internship for 3–6 months. High-performing candidates may be considered for a longerterm role, subject to performance and business requirements.
