JOB PROFILE:
Most internships hand you a checklist. This one hands you a brand. B.Bindi brings products made by rural women, self-help groups and farmer producer organisations to customers across urban India.
We are looking for a curious, creative student who wants to run our social media handles from our Bengaluru office and help turn attention into enquiries and sales.
B.Bindi is the market-facing wing of EMPBindi International Association, a social enterprise creating sustainable livelihoods for rural women through entrepreneurship, renewable energy, digital education and agri-livelihoods. Your posts will tell the stories of the women who make our products and put them in front of new customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Own the handles. Plan and run B.Bindi's Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp Business pages, publishing 4–5 posts a week against a monthly content calendar.
Tell the stories. Create reels, carousels, photos and short captions on our products, artisans, SHG/FPO stories and festive campaigns.
Make it look good. Design posts and edit short videos using Canva, CapCut or similar tools; coordinate with the team for product photos and field content.
Support campaigns. Help set up and monitor Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad and lead generation campaigns, tracking Reach → Clicks → Leads → Orders.
Keep listings fresh. Support updates to product images, descriptions and prices on theB.Bindi website and online marketplaces.
Engage the community. Respond to comments, messages and WhatsApp enquiries within 24 hours and pass qualified leads to the sales team.
Watch the market. Track five comparable brands' pages and trends, and share a short weekly note on what B.Bindi should do next.
Test, learn, scale. Try new formats and posting times; double down on what works and drop what doesn't.
Report. Share a one-page weekly report (followers, reach, engagement, enquiries, orders)
and a final presentation of learnings at the end of the internship.
SKILLS:
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Strong written English; Kannada and Hindi are a plus
Hands-on use of Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn; basic content creation (Canva, CapCut or similar)
Creativity and storytelling – turning a product or a person's story into a post people stop for
Data-awareness – comfortable reading reach, engagement and click numbers (Meta Business Suite basics are a plus)
Self-driven, reliable and comfortable working with a small team; meets deadlines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Design, Business Administration or a related field in Bengaluru. A page you have grown counts for more than the course you are studying.
Experience: No full-time experience needed. Running a college club, personal, or NGO social media page (with examples to show) is an advantage. Availability of at least 20 hours a week, including a minimum of three days on-site.
LOCATION:
The position will be based at the B.Bindi Bengaluru office, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (hybrid; minimum three days a week in office).
WHAT YOU GET:
Real ownership of live brand handles – your work is seen by real customers from day one
Mentoring from the Bengaluru sales team and exposure to the founding team
A portfolio of published work and campaign results you can show in future interviews
Stipend for interns / expense reimbursement for volunteers, plus a certificate on completion
Purpose plus business – a brand that creates livelihoods, with a chance to be considered for future roles as B.Bindi grows
