Role Description The Interior Design Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves leading interior design projects from initial client briefing through concept development, detailed design, and execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design concepts, space plans, and mood boards; coordinating construction drawings; selecting materials, finishes, and furniture; and ensuring designs align with budget, timelines, and client expectations.

The Interior Design

Manager will collaborate with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve design and site issues, oversee quality standards, and manage project documentation.



The role also includes mentoring junior designers, managing client communications, and supporting business development with design presentations and proposals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, including space planning and design development.
- Candidates should possess Design Management skills to lead projects, coordinate teams, and oversee timelines and budgets.
- Candidates should possess Construction Drawings skills, including the ability to produce and review technical drawings and site details.
- Candidates should possess Furniture-related skills, such as furniture layout planning, custom furniture design, and selection of fixtures and fittings.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong visual communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively on-site, and handle vendor and contractor coordination.
- Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in Bengaluru is beneficial.
