As Integration Lead, you will lead a pod of about seven engineers and analysts that takes a set of a bank's applications from analysis to production: finding the personal data in each batch interface, configuring protection through a data vault, and switching the batches over to protected staging tables.

You will be the technical liaison with application owners and their vendors, make design decisions for each interface, and keep your pod's wave on schedule. Deep hands-on ETL and SQL skills, sound judgement on data protection, and confident use of AI to speed up code analysis are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead a pod through analysis, configuration, batch switch-over, unit test, SIT and UAT for its wave of applications.
- Run walkthroughs with application owners and vendors; classify interfaces (table or file, needs real values or not, consent-dependent or not).
- Review PII identification and masking decisions with data owners and get sign-off.
- Design how each batch reads the protected staging tables; review all code changes before release.
- Plan and track the pod's work daily; raise blockers and dependencies to the Engagement Manager.
- Prepare release packages and support CAB approvals, cut-over and smoke tests.
- Set up and govern AI-assisted inventory and code analysis for the pod: prompts, guardrails and review.
- Spend onsite time with application owners during analysis and cut-over, on a rotation. Must-Have Skills

Technical Skills





- Expert SQL and stored procedure development and tuning on Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL or similar.
- Robust hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter or IICS, and with Spark / PySpark (Impala or Hive desirable).
- Experience with enterprise schedulers (Control-M, Autosys or similar), batch dependencies and restartability.
- Experience with data reconciliation (row counts, checksums) and test evidence for regulated environments.
- Experience leading 5 to 10 engineers on banking data integration or migration.

AI LLM Skills (Optional)

- Hands-on use of LLM tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Cursor) as a core part of daily delivery work, including:
- Prompt engineering and context engineering for code and data analysis
- Using AI to read and summarise legacy code (stored procedures, Informatica mappings, PySpark jobs)
- AI-assisted generation of configuration, test cases and documentation, with human review
- Guardrails: no customer data in prompts, hallucination checks, review before use
- Token and context management on large codebases

Candidates should show practical use of AI in delivery work, not only experimentation.

Professional Skills

- Strong communication with business and technical stakeholders, including vendors.
- Ownership of a pod's delivery, quality and dates.
- Ability to challenge requirements constructively and propose simpler designs.
- Comfortable working onsite with the client for extended periods. Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with DPDP, GDPR or data privacy remediation projects.
- Exposure to marketing, campaign (such as Unica), contact-centre or cards data flows.
- Experience with change data capture or file-based interfaces.

- Solid understanding of data protection: PII classification, masking, tokenisation, encryption and audit.
- Git-based workflows and CI/CD for database code.
