Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Import-Export Documentation Manager to join our CHA firm. The candidate will be responsible for handling import documentation, coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clients, and customs officials, and ensuring smooth and timely customs clearance of import shipments.

Role & responsibilities

- Handle import documentation, including Bill of Entry (BOE) filing, assessment, duty payment follow-up, and Out of Charge (OOC).
- Verify Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (BL), Air Waybill (AWB), and other import documents.
- Handle export documentation, including Shipping Bill (SB) filing, customs clearance, and Let Export Order (LEO).
- Manage ICEGATE and e-Sanchit document uploading and submission.
- Handle Shipping Instructions (SI), VGM submission, Form 13, and Shipping Bill handover.
- Coordinate for Bill of Lading (BL) draft checking, issuance, amendments, and release.
- Handle freight forwarding activities, including booking,



freight quotations, shipment tracking, and coordination with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents.
- Coordinate with clients, customs officials, transporters, CFS, and shipping lines for timely clearance and delivery.
- Maintain shipment records and ensure timely submission of all required documents.

Required Skills

- Experience in a CHA firm or freight forwarding company preferred.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and shipping line operations.
- Good communication, coordination, and MS Excel skills.

Preferred candidate profile

- Special preference for candidates with solid import documentation knowledge.
- Experience in a CHA firm or freight forwarding company preferred.

Location Preferred: Dombivli-Bhandup-Dadar Salary: As per experience and knowledge.
