Role & responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber (BDD).

2. Maintain a disciplined page-object structure: selectors stay in page objects, scenarios express user intent.

3. Test a React SPA end-to-end over its REST API layer, covering both UI and API-level behaviour.

4. Investigate failing and flaky tests to root cause, distinguishing genuine defects from test instability.

5. Review requirements and acceptance criteria, and translate them into test scenarios and coverage.

6. Maintain test data and test environments, and support their setup and refresh.

7. Follow Git and pull-request workflows, and participate in code review of test code.

Must Have

- 35 years of test automation experience.

- TypeScript + Playwright + Cucumber (BDD).

- Page-object discipline — a transparent, maintainable separation between selectors and scenarios.

- Experience testing a React SPA over a REST API.

- Git and pull-request workflow.

- Azure DevOps pipelines and Docker.

- API-level testing alongside UI automation.

- Healthcare domain exposure (CMN, wound care).

- Awareness of HIPAA and PHI handling requirements.
