Summary

We are seeking a skilled Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer with strong expertise in SailPoint to design, implement, support, and enhance enterprise identity governance and access management solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SailPoint, identity lifecycle management, application onboarding, access governance, and IAM integrations. This role requires close collaboration with application owners, security teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access management across the organization.

Candidates with experience in professional services environments and exposure to modern authentication and authorization protocols will be highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

- Design, implement, configure, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ / Identity Security Cloud (ISC) solutions for enterprise identity governance and administration.
- Develop and maintain identity lifecycle management processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, role management, and certification campaigns.
- Perform application onboarding and integration activities, connecting enterprise applications with SailPoint using standard and custom connectors.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SailPoint workflows, rules, and provisioning processes using BeanShell and Java-based scripting.
- Configure and maintain connector integrations with enterprise applications, directories, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Support day-to-day IAM operations, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and service requests.
- Collaborate with application owners, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to define access requirements and role models.
- Implement and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) frameworks, ensuring adherence to the principle of least privilege.
- Assist in conducting access reviews, certifications, audit support, and compliance activities.




- Troubleshoot identity synchronization, provisioning issues, connector failures, and workflow-related challenges.
- Participate in IAM solution enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and implementation guides.
- Support IAM governance standards, security controls, and best practices across the organization.
- Work closely with security and compliance teams to strengthen access governance and risk management processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IAM ecosystem.

Required Skills

Experience

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Candidates with more extensive IAM experience (10+ years) may also be considered based on overall fit and budget.
- Strong experience working in enterprise IAM environments and identity governance projects.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint (IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud).
- Understanding of IAM concepts, identity lifecycle management, and access governance.

- Hands-on experience with Okta (highest preference when combined with SailPoint expertise).
- Experience with identity and access management platforms such as:
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

- Ping Identity
- Exposure to multi-platform IAM integrations and hybrid-cloud identity environments.
- Experience with access management, single sign-on (SSO), and federation solutions.
- SailPoint certifications.
- Okta certifications.
- Familiarity with security compliance and audit frameworks.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise IAM transformation projects.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Qualified certifications in SailPoint, Okta, IAM, or cybersecurity disciplines.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale IAM implementations and support environments.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and identity governance best practices.
