SOVO International School is a learning-by-doing, IB-aligned school focused on inquiry, application, and emotional development. We are hiring Early Years and PYP Homeroom Facilitators who believe that children learn best through exploration, interaction, and meaningful experiences.

This role goes beyond traditional teaching. As a Homeroom Facilitator, you will design and guide learning experiences, observe children closely, support their emotional and academic growth, and work collaboratively with the school team to create a secure, engaging, and thoughtful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and facilitate inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the IB Early Years / PYP framework
- Act as the homeroom facilitator responsible for students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, collaboration, and respect
- Observe, document, and reflect on student learning through formative assessments and portfolios
- Support children through play-based, experiential, and hands-on learning methods
- Communicate regularly and clearly with parents regarding student progress and wellbeing
- Collaborate with specialists, coordinators,



and the school leadership team
- Participate in planning meetings, professional development, and school events
- Ensure child safety, emotional wellbeing, and inclusivity at all times

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field (Early Childhood Education preferred)
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in Early Years or Primary Years (IB experience preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong spoken and written English
- Familiarity with inquiry-based, play-based, or experiential learning approaches
- Ability to plan, document, and reflect on learning
- Warm, professional, and child-centric approach
- Willingness to understand and align with SOVO’s philosophy
