Job Details

Hybrid QA Engineer

- 3 to 6 years in software QA, with a majority in functional and regression testing of business applications.
- Strong Appium experience for native and hybrid mobile application testing across multiple devices and OS versions.
- Robust programming ability in JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of a web automation framework such as Playwright.
- API testing skills using Postman, REST Assured or equivalent, including response validation and error handling.
- Working SQL knowledge: able to write joins and aggregate queries independently to validate data behind the application
- Version control with Git, and experience running automated tests through a CI tool such as Jenkins or CircleCI
- Experience testing in Agile or Scrum with a defect tracking tool such as Jira.




- Ability to work across multiple applications and switch between them as needed.
- Hands-on automation exposure: able to read, run, debug, and extend existing automated tests, and write new scripts with guidance.
- Collaborative working style - raises problems early and shares knowledge.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a good team player.
- Good written communication for producing test evidence.

Preferred Retail domain experience, particularly omnichannel order flows, POS or Pricing systems.

Experience building a framework from scratch or substantially refactoring one.

Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and a practical view of where they add value.
