Key requirements/skills for an HR Manager

1. Educational qualification – Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; an MBA/PGDM in HR is often preferred.
2. HR knowledge – Recruitment, onboarding and Induction, performance management, compensation, employee relations, training, and HR policies.
3. Labour-law knowledge – Understanding applicable employment laws, statutory compliance, workplace safety, leave, wages, and employee advantages.
4. Recruitment skills – Job analysis, interviewing, candidate evaluation, selection, and workforce planning.
5. Communication skills – Strong written and verbal communication with employees, management, and candidates.
6. Leadership & people management – Ability to lead HR teams and handle employee concerns professionally.
7. Employee Engagement – Handled Employee engagement activities – Townhall, Rewards and recognitions.
8. Performance Management – Understand KRA / KPI of employees, Appraisal cycle and Review Cycle.

Payroll Process– Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in end-to-endpayroll processing, including salary calculation, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS), attendance/leave inputs, payroll reconciliation, and timely salary disbursement.
10. Conflict-resolution skills – Managing grievances, disputes, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues fairly.
11. HR technology – Familiarity with HRMS/HRIS, payroll systems, attendance systems, and Excel/data analysis. .
12. Strategic thinking – Aligning HR practices with business goals, workforce planning, retention, and organizational development.
13. Problem-solving & decision-making – Ability to assess situations objectively and make practical decisions.
14. Experience – Typically 8 + years of progressive HR experience, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

Note: Able to move to other locations for meeting Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
