Role Overview

Lead the complete HR function for domestic logistics operations: talent acquisition, workforce planning, driver and field-staff HR, compliance and employee engagement across a multi-location, fleet-driven business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end HR for corporate staff, warehouse personnel and driver/field workforce
- Drive recruitment and manpower planning across branches (fleet, warehousing, project cargo)
- Design HR policies, SOPs and compliance frameworks (labour law, PF/ESIC, driver welfare, contract labour)
- Own the performance management cycle: goal setting, appraisals, productivity tracking
- Oversee driver training, safety compliance and engagement programs with Safety and Operations teams
- Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary processes across depots/branches
- Partner with business heads on org structure,



manpower budgeting and cost optimisation
- Run engagement, retention and rewards and recognition programs
- Ensure HR MIS, headcount reporting and audit readiness
- Build and mentor the HR team; act as key HR partner to leadership

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with a significant part in logistics, transportation, supply chain or fleet-based industry
- Proven experience handling HR for a mixed workforce (corporate staff + drivers/warehouse/field)
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, contract labour compliance, PF/ESIC and statutory requirements
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, performance management, HR policy design and engagement
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to travel to depots/branches as required
