Role Description The Head of People & Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role oversees all people-related functions, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and managing employee relations in alignment with company values.

The role also involves optimizing operational processes, supporting leadership with workforce planning, and collaborating with teams to improve productivity and workplace culture. The Head of People & Operations will work closely with senior management to design strategies that support business growth, talent retention,



and a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience leading HR functions or teams.
- Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and HR Policies, with the ability to ensure compliance and update practices as regulations evolve.
- Expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, feedback processes, and engagement initiatives.
- Experience in operations management, process optimization, and implementing scalable organizational practices.
- Proven ability to design and execute hiring, onboarding, and performance management programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience fostering inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace cultures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; advanced degrees or HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a technology or startup environment is preferred.
