Key Responsibilities & Ownersip

- This leadership position is a key driver in establishing and governing a standardized, best-in-class Operations management system across the Group companies.

- Act as role model and set high expectations of the Group's Values, Ethics and compliance.

- Define and deploy the Operations Strategy, ensuring consistent execution at all function.

- Managing multiple operational disciplines directly such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing (Production, Maintenance, Projects and EHS), Process Engineering and Quality.

- Owning the Operational P&L;, Working Capital management, Annual budget preparation and capex management

- Drive Operations excellence focusing People, Process, Product and Profitability.

- Champions lean manufacturing activity at site/plant fostering an environment that focuses on continuous improvement and employee engagement at all levels in the organization

- Focus on longer-term goals including capacity planning and formulation, Operations expansion through Brownfield projects.

- Focus on the evaluation of plants capital needs, capacity utilization, performance improvement pertaining to product delivery, quality, cost of productivity and environmental health & safety

- Develop the subordinates,



management personnel to maximize their potential and contribution.

- Implement industry best practices, benchmarking across the sites operations

- Effectively manage & monitor complete manufacturing, lean initiatives associated with operations, KPIs, on going projects, MIS Reporting, updated information boards, and general communications and Management instructions & guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering with an MBA or Masters Degree in supply chain, Operations, or Business Management

- 18 - 20 years of progressive experience in Operations in a manufacturing environment(preferably Automotive, Auto Components or a similar industrial sector)

- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience as a Plant Head. Previous experience in managing multiple Plants will be an advantage

- Robust understanding of P&L;, Working Capital and the key financial drivers of Operations including Supply Chain

- Demonstrated experience in ERP/MRP systems and driving high levels of data accuracy and process compliance.

- Strong people leadership, stakeholder management, communication and change management skills.
