Role Description The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Dindigul, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of The Chennai Silks at the location. This role includes managing financial planning, monitoring budgets, and ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and reporting. The Head of Finance will lead the finance team, implement internal controls, support audits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The position involves analyzing financial performance, advising leadership on cost optimization and profitability, and contributing to strategic decision-making.



The role also includes coordinating with other departments to support business initiatives and maintain effective financial processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and experience in managing end-to-end financial operations.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for retail or similar sectors.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills, including planning, monitoring, and controlling costs.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and support decision-making.
- Candidates should have proven leadership abilities and experience managing finance teams.
- Candidates should have familiarity with accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Candidates should hold a relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional qualification (CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) is an advantage.
- Candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
