Role & responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and configure Guidewire applications (Claim Center)

- Work on enhancements, bug fixes, and production support.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.

- Design and implement scalable solutions using Guidewire best practices.

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Gosu.

- Integrate Guidewire applications with external systems via APIs and web services.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.

- Maintain proper documentation for development and system configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong experience with Guidewire platform (minimum one module: ClaimCenter).

- Proficiency in Gosu programming language.





- Experience with Guidewire Studio and configuration tools.

- Knowledge of SOAP/REST web services and integration patterns.

- Familiarity with Java, XML, SQL, and relational databases.

- Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Valuable problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Guidewire certifications (Associate or Specialist level).

- Experience in insurance domain (P&C; preferred).

- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform.

- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
