Godown In-Charge / Warehouse Supervisor

​Job Overview:

​We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Godown In-Charge to oversee daily warehouse operations, stock flow, and team supervision. You will be responsible for end-to-end inventory control, inward/outward material handling, dispatch coordination, and maintaining accurate stock records.

​Key Responsibilities:

- ​Inventory & Stock Management:
- ​Oversee inward stock reception, verify delivery notes against purchase orders, and inspect for damage/shortages.
- ​Maintain up-to-date physical inventory records and conduct periodic stock audits/reconciliations.
- ​Dispatch & Order Fulfillment:
- ​Plan and prioritize daily order picking, packing, and dispatch as per delivery challans/invoices.
- ​Coordinate with drivers, transporters, and logistics partners for timely delivery.
- ​Team Supervision:
- ​Lead, assign daily tasks, and supervise godown staff/loaders to maintain high efficiency and discipline.
- ​Documentation & Reporting:
- ​Maintain godown stock registers, dispatch logs, and enter daily movement in inventory/billing software.
- ​Report stock levels, slow-moving items, and damage reports to management.
- ​Safety & Maintenance:
- ​Ensure the warehouse is organized, safe, clean,



and properly secured at the end of each day.

​Requirements & Qualifications:

- ​Experience: 1–3+ years of experience as a Godown In-Charge, Warehouse Supervisor, or Storekeeper (preferably in wholesale, retail distribution, or FMCG/consumer goods).
- ​Education: Graduate / Plus Two (12th) or diploma.
- ​Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, inventory software, or billing systems like Tally is a strong plus).
- ​Skills: Strong leadership, numerical accuracy, organizational ability, and problem-solving skills.
- ​Language: Proficiency in the local language; basic working English/Hindi for dispatch documentation.
