Role &
- Responsibilities

- Strategic Procurement: Develop and execute material sourcing strategies, consolidate procurement vendor-base and optimise material specifications and sourcing channels.
- Supplier Strategy: Rationalise and strengthen the vendor base through supplier assessment, qualification, development, performance management and strategic partnerships.
- Cost &
- Commercial Excellence: Lead negotiations, cost benchmarking and total cost optimisation to deliver measurable, sustainable procurement savings.
- Material Quality: Ensure supplier capability, material specifications and quality standards meet the product quality requirements, in partnership with Quality team.
- Supply Continuity &
- Risk: Ensure timely material availability across manufacturing units while managing supplier dependency, lead times, inventory exposure and supply risks.
- Governance &
- Transformation: Establish procurement controls, supplier performance metrics, data-driven decision-making and a performance-oriented team.

Skills &

- Qualifications

Must-Have





- 15-18 years of progressive experience in strategic procurement, raw material sourcing, category management and supplier development.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing or consumer industries such as FMCG, retail, footwear, apparel, textiles or automotive components.
- Proven track record in procurement cost optimisation, supplier rationalisation, commercial negotiations and material quality improvement.
- Experience managing multi-site manufacturing requirements and domestic as well as international supplier networks.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, negotiation skills and cross-functional leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is preferred.
